Ingredients
-
350 ml Sweet cream
-
3 pieces Egg, egg yolk, fresh
-
150 g Powdered sugar
-
500 g Cheese, creamy
-
120 ml Alcohol, Liqueur, Crème de Menthe
-
pieces Breadcrumbs, dried
-
120 ml Coffee, espresso
-
2 spoons Alcohol, Rum
-
pieces Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
Steps
-
In a large bowl, whip the sweet cream until stiff peaks form. You can use an electric mixer or a hand whisk.
-
In another bowl, add the egg yolks and sugar. Mix with an electric mixer set to medium speed for 3-4 minutes until you get a light, pale yellow cream. Add the mascarpone and mix just enough to combine the ingredients into a uniform cream.
-
First, mix half of the egg liqueur into the cream, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
-
Mix the rum and the remaining egg liqueur into the cooled coffee.
-
Prepare the glasses in which you will serve the dessert. Start by adding a spoonful of cream to each glass. Follow with a layer of cookies, quickly dipped in coffee on both sides. Add another layer of cream, followed by another layer of coffee-dipped cookies. If the glasses are large enough, repeat the process once more. The final layer should be cream.
-
Store the glasses in the refrigerator overnight to allow the ingredients to soak and bind together well.
-
Just before serving the tiramisu, dust the cream with cocoa powder.

Advice
Instead of ginger cookies, you can also use gingerbread or other holiday cookies (e.g., speculaas).
